Today is My Birthday
I’m going to celebrate it by going to work. After which, I will proceed to one of two places. Narrowing the selection down was no easy task. However, in the end, it helped making the final decision much easier. So, the process worked. The choices are to either hitch my horse to a post and get to the bar for drinks with friends, lovers, and constituents, etc., or, go to 24 HR Fitness for a 20 minute run on the treadmill. Again, this was not an easy decision. In honor of my birthday I gave myself a poem. Here it is:
Once a year I get the chance
To wish me birthday cheer.
It pleases me no end to say,
I wish me another great year.
So happy birthday to me, THE Joe Moran,
From the bottom of my heart.
And may my good times multiply,
Till they’re flying off the chart!
