I must be living under a rock
I just found out Marvin Sease suddenly passed away. When I say suddenly, I mean like February 8th, 2011, suddenly. Today is March 18th. Marvin was 64. How he passed doesn’t matter. He’s gone and I’m late to the party. I am almost at a loss for words, people. I have enjoyed Marvin’s career, and what he stood for as a musician. If not for Marvin’s lyrically challenging songs that led to the FCC to place ‘explicit lyrics’ lables on his CDs, would Eazy-E’s career taken off? Probably.
On February 16th, the Word and Worship Church in Jackson, MS honored Marvin’s life with a Memorial. I missed this, too.
